Scorpion were Bob Babitt (bass), Mike Campbell (vocals), Ray Monette (guitar), and Andrew Smith (drums). "A strong local Detroit, Michigan band's only album, containing hard rock with a funky edge. Bob Babitt and Andrew Smith became well-known session musicians in the seventies, playing on albums by Alice Cooper, Jimi Hendrix, Yoko Ono, Alexis Korner, Four Tops, Temptations and manyothers. Wasn't sure what to expect, (back to the horrid album cover debate), however, this came over as a cross between Canned Heat and many of the early 'hard rock' bands that evolved 1970+.
The album got the toes tapping. The singer and the players are way above average, but some of the songs just ain't that important, ha ha the old lyric debate?
